At OLIGNE ("we," "our," or "us"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information when you use our B2B marketplace platform (the "Platform") as a buyer, a seller, or a visitor.
1. Information We Collect (General)
We collect information from all visitors to ensure Platform stability, perform service monitoring, and support account administration. This includes:
- Usage Data: Pages visited, interaction with search algorithms, product clicks, and navigation paths.
- Technical Logs: IP address, browser user-agent, operating system, and system timestamp details.
- Cookies: Session persistence tokens to store user sign-in details and preferences.
2. Detailed Specifics for BUYERS
When you interact with the Platform as a buyer (purchasing garments or submitting requests), we collect and process data specific to your purchasing operations:
A. Account Credentials & Login
When you log in (including Google OAuth sign-in), we store your name, email address, profile photo, and unique identifier to establish your buyer account.
B. Quotation Request (RFQ) Submissions
To help sellers verify buying intent, your RFQ logs collect your contact details (phone, WhatsApp, email, company name) alongside purchase requirements (specifications, quantity, target budget, delivery locations).
C. Buyer Activities & Logs
We track your bookmarked products, followed suppliers, support tickets, and direct catalog inquiries to provide a customized client dashboard.
3. Detailed Specifics for SELLERS
For verified garment manufacturers, wholesale merchants, and traders registering as suppliers on OLIGNE:
A. Business Verification & KYC
To maintain a secure marketplace, we collect company profile data, PAN numbers, GSTIN details, business licenses, and owner identity verifications. These documents are stored securely.
B. Catalog & Digital Storefront Management
We host and display your catalog files, product pricing slabs, photos, and storefront images. This info is public to all buyers.
C. Team Accounts & Operations
We log email IDs, credentials, and configuration logs for team members added to your supplier dashboard.
4. Data Collected for CUSTOM ORDERS
When you submit a custom order (OEM/ODM/Blank/Private Label), additional data is collected and processed to fulfill your manufacturing request:
A. Order & Contact Information
We collect your full name, phone number, email address, and company name to process and manage your custom order. This information is shared with OLIGNE's admin/executive team (not marketplace sellers) who will contact you directly to discuss requirements and pricing.
B. Order Specifications
Garment category, type, fabric preferences, size ranges, color requirements, branding details, quantity, budget range, delivery location, and timeline requirements are stored to process your manufacturing request.
C. Uploaded Files & Design Materials
Reference images, logo files, design documents, tech packs, and other files you upload (up to 5 files, max 10MB each) are stored securely on our servers. These files are accessible only to OLIGNE's admin team and are used exclusively for fulfilling your order. Files are retained for the duration of the order and up to 12 months after order completion for dispute resolution purposes.
D. Reference Links
External URLs you provide as design references or inspiration are stored as part of your order details. OLIGNE does not track your activity on external websites.
E. Order Communications
All messages exchanged between you and our admin team through the custom order message system are logged and stored. This includes text messages and any file attachments shared during the conversation. Communication records are maintained for order tracking and dispute resolution.
F. Payment & Transaction Records
Advance payment amounts, quoted prices, and payment status records are maintained for order management. Actual payment processing occurs offline — OLIGNE does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or UPI IDs on its platform.
G. Design Confidentiality
All proprietary designs, logos, and brand assets uploaded for custom orders are treated as strictly confidential. OLIGNE will not use, reproduce, sell, or distribute your designs for any purpose other than fulfilling your specific order without your explicit written consent.
5. Information Sharing & Disclosure
OLIGNE acts as a matching engine. Data is shared between buyers and sellers to support B2B garment sourcing transactions:
- RFQ Transmissions: When a buyer inquires about a product or submits an RFQ, their company name, contact numbers, email, and requirements are transmitted to the target seller to start direct offline negotiation.
- Custom Order Communications: Custom order details (contact info, specifications, uploaded files) are shared exclusively with OLIGNE's internal admin/executive team for order fulfillment. Custom order data is NOT shared with marketplace sellers unless explicitly authorized by the buyer.
- Public Directories: Seller shop descriptions, catalogs, ratings, and locations are displayed publicly to attract retail buyers.
- Administrative Auditing: Platform logs (activity, IP addresses, messages) are audited by OLIGNE admin moderators to enforce quality standards and block fraud.
6. Data Retention & Security
Account databases, verification records, and transaction histories are retained as long as the user account remains active. Custom order records (including uploaded files and communications) are retained for 12 months after order completion or cancellation for dispute resolution purposes, after which uploaded files may be permanently deleted. We utilize secure hosting servers, firewall blocks, and access limitations to prevent unauthorized access. However, no database is 100% secure, and we are not responsible for security breaches outside our reasonable control.
